Thermarest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad Review

Love how small this sleeping pad rolls up to be and therm a rest is a great company.
Thermarest trail pro sleeping pad review. My only real complaint is that it s a bit bulky for a backpacking pad but it more than makes up for it in comfort. Whether is be car camping or backpacking this self inflating air mattress will allow you to sleep in comfort. The thermarest trail pro is the perfect all around air mattress. As already mentioned self inflating it packs up into a reasonably small package that fits nicely into your pack.
I used the trailpro for three nights in a row without having to re inflate. I am happy with the thickness which is perfect for backpacking comfortably. But it is double the price and less durable. I would recommend this product to everyone.
This classic has been updated with diagonal cut foam which brings added warmth by minimizing convective heat loss. The self inflating foam measures 3 inches 7 6 cm and features our stratacore construction a design that provides the best warmth to weight ratio of any self inflating foam construction. The therm a rest neoair xtherm weighs 2 oz less but is more comfortable and packs smaller. The therm a rest trail pro sleeping pad is one of their most popular sleeping pads being their warmest pad and still fairly light to carry with its mere 740gr in the 183cm length version.
This is the lightest two inch mattress ever made under the therm a rest brand. A four season two inch thick self inflating backpacking pad that packs small and self inflates diagonal cut foam offers more warmth than the typical vertical cut foam 4 0 r value means the trail pro offers enough insulation for year round camping and backpacking. Warmer and more comfortable than ever the classic therm a rest trail pro sleeping pad is your ticket to the land of nod in the backcountry. At 17oz this is far from the lightest pad we reviewed but there were many pads much heavier.
Although they feel similar when sleeping the rei airrail weighs an astonishing 10 oz more. This pad would do well somewhere you are tentative to bring a less durable pad to such as the desert pokey things or somewhere with sharp rocks. For unprecedented comfort during your backcountry adventures the trail pro brings year round warmth and legendary therm a rest support. Sleeping at high elevations usually means my sleeping pad loses air throughout the night as the temperatures drop.
